About Me
I graduated from Huntington Beach High in 1985 and moved to Oregon in 1990. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from PSU and worked for a number of years before deciding to pursue a career in teaching. I received my Masters in Teaching from George Fox University in 2004. After graduating, I taught standard and honors English at Molalla High. Eventually, I moved to the North Clackamas School District and began teaching at CWA. This is my sixteenth year at CWA and it has been a marvelous adventure. I love working with my students and my families!
Outside of work, I love to travel and have visited India, Thailand, Denmark, and many places in the U.S. I also enjoy writing and always have a creative project in the works. I am an enthusiastic cook and I like to try new types of food and recipes. It probably goes without saying that I love to read, but I am also crazy about Podcasts! I have at least a dozen I rotate and listen to while I am driving or walking. Are you a podcast fan? If so, I would love to know what you recommend.
