Standing Together in Support of the Bend Community
Dear CWA Families and Staff,
Yesterday's tragic events in Bend, Oregon, have left many of us heartbroken. Our thoughts are with the families, educators, students, and entire Bend community as they navigate these devastating losses.
Events like these remind us how important our work in education is. Every day, our staff and families invest in the lives of young people, building relationships and creating environments where students feel safe, valued, and supported. This work is incredibly meaningful, but it also carries an emotional weight that should never be underestimated.
As a school community, we stand with Bend as they begin the difficult process of healing. We also recognize that tragedies like this can affect students, families, and educators far beyond the community directly impacted.
For anyone needing additional emotional support, the following resources are available:
-
Clackamas County Crisis and Support Line: 503-655-8585 (24/7)
-

At CWA, relationships are at the heart of what we do. During difficult times, those connections matter more than ever. We encourage all of us to extend extra compassion, patience, and understanding to one another.
We stand with Bend, grieve alongside those experiencing unimaginable loss, and remain committed to caring for one
another.
