Following the presentation and a review of performance data, the NCSD School Board voted to approve the renewal of our charter, allowing us to continue serving students for 5 years! Our students are engaged in basketball, softball, baseball, football, tennis, dance, cheer, equestrian, trap and skeet, violin, gymnastics, skateboarding, and more. They worked hard at City Hall, NW Sports, Unitus Credit Union, All State Insurance and The Community Wellness Center. A big thank you to Ms. Hlifka for helping our students be prepared and to our parent volunteers for spending the day with us, we couldn’t have done it without you! These sessions are engaging, meaningful, and connected to real-world learning. All students are welcome—and encouraged—to join in the fun and learning! Our Middle School students proudly participated in our first-ever Oregon Battle of the Books! They read a ton, showed great teamwork, and most importantly—had a lot of fun along the way. Students in Astronomy are learning about the immense size, complexity and beauty of the ever-evolving universe. Topics in Forensic Science, the application of science for solving crimes, include toxicology, DNA fingerprinting, ballistics, blood type, and trace evidence. Students in Doorways to Expression are examining self-expression through drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture, students in Ancient Empires are taking a journey back in time to examine the culture, art, and architecture of different ancient empires, our Yearbook students are busy interviewing students and staff, and our Leadership students are planning fun school activities for all grade levels to participate in. Over 30% of current CWA high school students are enrolled in one or more college classes this fall at Clackamas, Portland and Mt. Hood Community Colleges along with Oregon Tech, a four year university. From Accounting, Art and Automotive to Writing and Welding, our high school students are learning skills and achieving great things at the college level as part of their CWA high school experience. Registration for Winter term at the colleges opens in November. Students who would like to take a college class should begin the application and registration process now. Pumpkin Patch Our Elementary and Middle School students had a chance to connect and enjoy time together at Liepold Farms on a stunningly beautiful sunny day in October. Emily Inslee is our new 2nd/3rd grade teacher; her experience along with her gentle, warm, inviting manner makes her classroom a welcoming place where all students can learn. Pentru a câștiga cel mai mult, trebuie să știi cum să transformi aspectele negative în pozitive.” „Dacă crezi în tine, orice este posibil”. Despre mine Sunt doamna Kristin Allaert, Am lucrat pentru N. Clackamas School District în ultimii 23 de ani acum. Ultima mea funcție înainte de a veni la CWA, acum 19 ani, a fost cea de asistent de educație specială la Sunrise Middle School. Înainte de a lucra pentru NCSD, am fost angajat la Newberg School Dist. în calitate de asistent medical raional, precum și ajutor în sălile de clasă cu cei fragili din punct de vedere medical. Înainte de a începe să lucrez în educație, am lucrat ca Asistent medical timp de 24 de ani în Urgentă. Eu și soțul meu am sărbătorit 35 de ani de căsnicie vara trecută. Avem două fete. Acum, tânărul nostru de 31 de ani a absolvit programul ECO și a urmat Marylhurst, în programul lor de terapie prin muzică. Tanarul nostru de 34 de ani este casatorit, se apropie acum de 9 ani. Am un minunat bunic Humphrey și suntem bunici a doi . Un copil de aproape 9 ani și un copil de 6 ani. Amândoi participă la CWA anul acesta ca studenți. Unul dintre lucrurile mele preferate este să alerg. Am antrenat Cross Country și pista pentru liceul Clackamas timp de 4 ani. De asemenea, îmi place arta, camparea, schiul (zăpadă și apă), să citesc și să petrec timpul cu familia mea! Sunt atât de încântat să lucrez cu voi în acest an. doamna Kristin Allaert

Am avut ocazia să predau o varietate de clase de matematică (Pre-Algebră, Algebră 1, Geometrie, FST și Algebră 2) la Liceul Rex Putnam (5 ani) și la Liceul Clackamas (17 ani). A fost o călătorie extraordinară și sunt încântat că am început-o pe cea nouă (anul 2) la CWA. De asemenea, am avut norocul să antrenez baseball și la nivel de universitate. Am fost antrenor principal și antrenor asistent la universitate în ultimii 28 de ani. Sper să construiesc relații de calitate cu toți elevii mei de-a lungul anului școlar și să vă ajut să vă atingeți obiectivele.

NCSD/CWA Chromebook Insurance Plan Pay Below: North Clackamas School District / Clackamas Web Academy: Chromebook Insurance Program Details: CWA offers an optional Chromebook Insurance plan that provides an inexpensive solution for families to reduce the financial burden of accidental damage or theft. The insurance plan is available for an annual fee of $25.00. If a student receives a device after February 1st of a given school year the prorated annual fee for that year will be $15.00. The Insurance plan covers 2 incidents (claims) per school year. This coverage does not include intentional damage. Families who decline to participate in the Chromebook Insurance Program will be fully responsible for any associated cost for damage, loss, or theft. Pricing Guidelines for Repairs and Replacements The following list of approximate repair costs is provided as a reference to families to assist in making a decision on insurance coverage. Approximate device value is $475.00. Power Cord $30 OR 1 insurance incident (claim) Keyboard Replacement $40 OR 1 insurance incident (claim) Screen Replacement $250 OR 1 insurance incident (claim) Full Chromebook Replacement $400 OR 1 insurance incident + $50 ($100 for second incident) For repairs not listed above, cost and applicable insurance claims will be determined by the cost of replacement parts to the district at the time of repair. If insurance coverage is not purchased and the Chromebook is damaged/stolen, the family will be invoiced for the actual cost of repairs/replacement.
